Our C-litter

Weight table

The nursery has been built and we can enjoy our first meal in own room.

When we are finished, we invite Mom and Sister to share the leftovers.

The strawberry is a very popular cave. Mom checks it out first.

Bernhard is probably the most patient mom in the world and the c-litter have an unconditional love for Bernhard.

We have often promised to widen the space for the pups, but actually the c-litter is quite quiet (though not dull) so the project has been postponed till now. This morning, however, all pups were out sleeping on the rug, so now the nursery has been made – with a good cover for the carpet and many corners and new challenges for the little fellows.
We made a couple of movies:

Fine with new and colourful toys, but my own paw is always at hand.

Celebration april 7. First real meal – consumed with healthy appetite.

We have discovered the joys of dogfight.

Wonder if our big sister will soon take us out to play.

Now the c-litter has unfolded all senses and day by day they walk more around in their birth bed.
They have tried real food soaked in water and was enthustically received (also by the big dogs).
They often look out of the bed, and soon they shall have half the living room for play.
The new pup owners have been here several times much to joy for all.

Neither Chikie nor Tigger jump today .

Chili shall bring Pooh with her when she leaves home.

Eeyore will be a most faithful friend for Chanel.

Coco shall meet the world with the merry Lumpy.

Today the C-litter has been named. The boy shall now be known as Chikie, girl with black ear is now Chili, white girl is Chanel and white girl with a purple spot is now Coco.
The two white girls still look exactly the same - perhaps perfect twins - anyways we still have to mark one of them to distinguish.
They had nice soft Disneytoys for name day present, which shall follow them into the world.
The C-litter still grow as they should - shown in the weight table. Noses are now black and the eyes are close toopen - probably in few days.

The stork has decided to stay at our door for some time.

The birth bed is nice and warm. Coton TV keeps a vivid eye on everything.

A true C-litter eats with their entire body.

Moms belly is good to sleep at - unless of course one gets a Millehug.

The C-litter develops according to plans. They lost a little weight on the first day, but are now steadily on their way up. They are growing little black specks on their noses. Unless previous litters this litter has fur on their legs from day one, but of course they have spent 3-4 more days inside Mille.
Apart from eating and sleeping they do make much fuss, but in their awake moments they are quite lively, which can be documented by Coton TV.

White girl with purple spot.

On March 16 Mille gave birth to four pups - the C-litter.

Boy : born at 03:22 weight 221 grams
Girl : born at 03:55 weight 224 grams
Girl : born at 04:15 weight 202 grams
Girl : born at 05:05 weight 208 grams

This has been a very exciting night and a very different birth situation. On March 14 Milles temperature dropped by one degree, normally a sign, that the birth is due within 24 hours. Still labourprocess did not start until the night before sunday.

When Mille had 3 pups we offered her food, for a coton mom does not eat until all pups are out.
Mille ate with good appetite, so we went to bed - glad for 3 beautiful pups.
But within the hour Mille had laid the 4th pup, so now we have given up all attempts to predict Mille's pregnancies.

C-litter born March 16 with Bartok du Castel de la Roche aux Fees.
