Our B-litter

15.09 2007 Pups meeting with the B-litter.

All dogs had fine presents fron Ulla. Bones with nose and ears - and a squeak in the bum.

Now You make the teddy - then I'll make You.

Mads is very fond of Ida - and as we see, Ida fully returns his love.

Without doubt all pups are very confident to be in the old home.

We have had the entire B-litter to pups meeting. A mega success and very good weather. We had a slight wind, but the galant Caesar offered himself as a coat for all bitches, who might feel cold. Soffi already had her first period (only 7 months old), so Caesar was most courting. However Soffi was not at all interested, so mostly Caesar played with Bina (More puppylike games).
Both people and dogs enjoyed the meeting and maybe we shall meet in an exebition. All puppetfamilies have ambitions for their dogs. We made a small movie:

The freeriding B-litter

21.07 2007 A small visit by Soffi.

So good to be back in the land of childhood.

It was one of the few summerdays in July.

How nice that big sister still likes to kiss.

The family gets a quick course in ear maintenance.

We have been visited by Soffi (aka Bonita) and her very nice family. Luckily the weather was good and all dogs enjoyed playing in the garden. Soffi has turned into a very beautiful coton. We all agreed to arrange a meeting in september. All families seem to want to come.

17.06 2007 A visit at Caesars..

Do they really take as good care of You as I did ?

Three on a row for a common recognitin ritual.

Hmmh, what shall we do to get a taste of those delicious meatballs ?

Seems like Wild with Dancing pays a good paw in this house.

We saw Caesar (and his wonderful parents) today for a light and delicious lunch. In spite of the horrid thunderstorm it was a very nice experience and all three dogs at once joined in common plays. We all agreed to try to arrange a meeting for the B-litter late in this summer.

28.05 2007 Bina came by.

The old sandpit at once catches Bina's full attention.

Mother and daughter in synchroneus leisure.

Bina steals Ida's chewing bone - and Ida lets her get away with it.

And all of a sudden a wild hunt is on - drawing stripes in the air as they pass by

Bina has been to see us today. It was fun to see how all dogs immediately knew each other(And Bina recognized us). Bina at once sought to the sandpit, which she loved before she moved. Mille took care of her toilette as had she only been gone for hours and Ida was ravished to review and play with her kid sister.
We made a small movie: Bina and Ida revisited

02.04 2007 Vets check.

So this is the vet. Nice and clean, I say and quite comforting place to be.

Good to have Mum with us. Waiting gives a good hunger and thirst.

So many things to be checked out. Luckily Mum did her best producing us.

The pups are 7 weeks now. Much of their awake hours are now passed in the living room or the garden, sp from now on TV watchers get little value.
We have been at the vet for health certificate. All are healthy and vivid. They do however all have a small navel hernia, which needs surgery. This will be fixed before they leave home and then they will be 100% ok.
Ida is becoming a most fantastic sister. She plays wildly wit them and they chase her around in the house or garden.
We made a small movie today: Moosehunting in the kitchen

26.03 2007 An expedition out in the garden.

Now as the weather is more springlike the small pups have been out several times to enjoy springtime. We made a few small movies to be seen here. Size is 7 to 15MB, so be patient.

18.03 2007 A guided tour in the nursery.

Cosy corner reminds a lot of the birth bed, so the pups are at ease here. They love to climb Bernhard og sleep all over him. Behind cosy corner is the TV tower monitoring their life.

Cave corner gives new challenges. The pups love to lie in the strawberry, but are not quite at ease with the cage. Practical to put them in, when cleaning the nursery.

Dinner corner with food and water. They have good teeth and eat the dry food with pleasure. Here is also the small basket where Ida and Baltazar love to lie in.

The nursery is now finished. Set up with several corners and many colors and shapes. In the wake hours they are very agile. The most important Coton gene has been activated: walking is forbidden if jumping is possile. Ida bites them and breaks their necks, but they love it and always come back for more. The two puppy buyers from Jutland have been here a few times. Our Sealand connection were also due this weekend, but were held back by disease. To compensate we have made a few special demonstrations on TV for the family - also they have sent a toy dog with scents of the family.

14.03 2007

Actually puppy food from the Vet tastes quite good.

It gives strength for one more dogfight.

New colors and shapes are most important for our development.

So the pups are one month now. WE no more weigh them regularely, but they all weigh over one kilo, and are in good health. The birth bed was removed today, so there is plenty room to play in. They run, jump and fight a lot. Ida is very enthusistic about them now. She likes to play. She also helps to keep them clean and a few times she has laid down to feed them milk. Not much success, but the pups are gld for their little extramom. We made a small movie before the birth bed was put away: Fightforlife

Bonita with her new friend

Baltazar lays down a moose

All pups have eyes now - starting at 2 weeks. As they also start to stand up on four legs there is more life in the birth bed. Already a pup has tried to drop out of the bed, so this weekend the floor will be plasticcovered for protection. Also the camera is raised up to cover a larger area.

18.02 2007

Bina - Purple girl
Bonita - Red girl

Baltazar - Boy

Now the pups have names to be entered in their pedigree. Purple girl will henceforward be known as Bina, red girl is Bonita and the boy is Baltazar. We have applied for the trademark og Cotonstenberg, so this will be part of their names.

As time goes by, Mille holds longer breaks. Ida likes to babysit her siblings, while mommy rests.

Mille is a very modren mother and quite pleased that we have a surveillance camera, so the world can keep an eye on the pups, when Mille needs resting.

Is one not loved when one lies in mommys arm ?
Mille is a very dedicated mother and proud of her B-litter.

15.02 2007

Red girl now has black spots on the pink nose.

14.02 2007

The pups start to gain weight so we shall not bottlefeed this time.
We made a small movie - 10MB so be patient Motherwashingpuppy

13.02 2007

Purple girl
Red girl

Boy

On February 12 2007 Mille gave birth to three pups - B-litter.
Purple girl: Born 9:20 weight 234 gram
Red girl: Born 10:42 weight 225 gram
Boy : Born 11:03 weight 203 gram

All pups have a good home, impatiently waiting for them to grow up. But even though they were big and healthy at birth and even though Mille willingly gives milk, actually they have lost a bit of weight. We have a supply of babymilk and if the weight does not rise by tomorrow we will have a feeding job to do.
(The color of the girls refers to the little dot in the neck we gave them at birth - elsewise all pups are white)

Weight overview
By the 10th day they have doubled their weight.
